​Violence Free Waipa is a network made up of community agencies which are committed to ending Family Violence in Cambridge and Te Awamutu, New Zealand.  We stand together to say “Enough is Enough” – this violence has to end.
Through running events, campaigns and promotions our team of coordinators and their passionate volunteers hope to raise awareness throughout Waipa and enable those in need of help to get it.  You can follow what we are up to on our facebook page.



*Statistics for  2019 in New Zealand
87,000 adults experienced over 250,000 offences committed by family members.
Of those adults, 53,000 experienced offending by an intimate partner and 37,000 experienced offending by other family members.
44% of victims reported that they experienced anxiety/panic attacks and
40% experienced depression because of the offence.


Become a champion against Family Violence, be a violence-free whanau, be aware of what’s going on in your neighbourhood…we are all in this together, and a violence-free community will benefit everyone in it, in ways we cannot even begin to imagine.  Are you with us?  ​
