Who We Are

We are a group of like minded organisations working together to reduce all forms of violence and abuse in Waipa.
THE VIOLENCE FREE WAIPA NETWORK has been formed in response to Family Violence in our own community. The focus is on violence prevention through education, awareness and empowering our community to speak out. They also increase awareness of support services available to help victims and perpetrators get help.

Our Violence Free Waipa Coordinators are available to talk to community groups on how to recognise the signs of an abusive relationship, what you can do and say to help as a bystander of
relationship abuse and support services available. They are also involved in community events and projects focused on preventing family violence.

Who our Coordinators are and our Campaigns 
We have a part time coordinator in Cambridge and one in Te Awamutu.
